Toddler and Mother’s Bodies Found in Rajmata Dighi of Coochbehar

Webdesk, TNI Coochbehar 6^th May, 2018: Coochbehar police recovered bodies of an unidentified baby (toddler) and her mother from the Rajmata Dighi on yesterday. The incident came to the forefront on Saturday evening under the jurisdiction of the Coochbehar police station when some locals found the bodies floating near the bank of the lake. Firstly, the body of the toddler was sited floating then after few minutes body of his mother was also found.

According to the locals, both of them were seen in local Khagrabari area a few days back. After the bodies were seen the locals informed the police. The police officials reached the spot with forensic and crime experts. Police have shifted the body to local hospital’s morgue for identification. Police sources also said that other police stations were also updated about the incident.
